Lawrence G. Coleman

Lawrence is a Navy Veteran with 28 years of active duty service with four years in the Naval Reserve. He has more than 30 years of Supply & Logistics experience in the U.S. Navy, private sector, contingency contracting, operational contract support, and acquisition expertise.

Lawrence's Navy experience includes 1 Mercy-Class Hospital Ship (TAH-20), 2 U.S Navy aircraft carriers (CV-41/CV-66), 1 F-14 Fighter Squadron (VF-102), and 1 F/A-18 Reserve Fighter Squadron (VFA-305). He acted as the Senior Logistics Advisor and Executive Officer, Naval Forces Division (NFD) to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF). He was a Senior Advisor/Analyst to the Director of Supply (DOS) on a $20B Foreign Military Sales (FMS) effort in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Lawrence also acted as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) Naval Regional Contracting Center (NRCC) detachment in Bahrain, where he was issued an Unlimited Contracting warrant.

Private sector experience includes leading and managing a commercial manufacturing concern’s regional facilities, in addition to Navy contracting efforts around the world. Lawrence has also participated in humanitarian assistance throughout Africa and Central Asia.

 

Lawrence was deployed as a contingency contracting officer to many global hot spots including Iraq, Central Africa, and Eastern Europe. An avid traveler, he has visited 162 countries around the world.

Lawrence is level 3 certified in Contracting and Acquisition from the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). He has his Acquisition Professional Management certification (Sub Specialty Code of 1306S). He is also an Acquisition Professional Community (APC) member.

Lawrence is a graduate of the University of Central Florida. He obtained his Executive Master of Business Administration from the Darden School University of Virginia, and he completed the Navy Acquisition Contracting Officer (NACO) program in Atlanta, Georgia.
