Marlena Sokol

Marlena Sokol is a Vice President and Senior Project Manager in the HR Org PMO at Citibank. Prior to her role as a senior project manager, she was a Learning Advisor Senior Analyst on the Internal Audit Learning and Development team. She has extensive experience with classroom facilitation, mentoring, technical training, instructional design, and waterfall and agile project management. 

Marlena maintains PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, ITIL, and CAPM certifications. Professional accomplishments include overseeing the implementation of vendor and internal skill assessments for the IA function at Citi, developing a project tracking system for use by the IA L&D team and adopted by other IA teams at Citi, and project managing the Global Operating Model at the IIA, one of the organization's strategic initiatives that focused on revamping how products and services were shared with members around the world.
